With over twenty-five years in the music business, Ellis Williams has worn the hats of many professionals. From a musician, writer, and producer to a sync agent, digital editor and businessman, Ellis continues to add value to his work.
An Afro-Cuban American born in Brooklyn, New York, music made its mark from an early age. Stepping into the recording studio with his mother fueled his musical vision. After obtaining Bachelors in Music Media from Norfolk State University, he went on to receive a Master's in Business Entertainment from Full sail University.
Covering various genres from Jazz, Funk, R&B, and more, the gifted musician stands tall as an experimental artist with an open heart. Ellis has earned a reputation as an artist whose music holds no boundaries. Striving to make music that commands attention for the powerful energy it radiates.
In 2017, Ellis founded "E Willz Entertainment,” a Virginia-based company that focused on artist & brand development. The company has since released the "E Willz Entertainment Music Catalog," an online database featuring one-stop music for brands, television, and films.
A devoted educator, Ellis is the producer & host of “Trumpet Vybes," a podcast that explores the world of the music industry through the perspective of a trumpeter. In his spare time Ellis tutors the next generation of talent through vocal and trumpet lessons in the Gloucester and Petersburg areas.
